As a litigator, Ms. Kirk carried out a successful practice, becoming a managing partner in the firm. She is herself certified as an Arbitrator and has presided over appellate-level disputes as the Vice Chair and acting Chair of an administrative tribunal.  Ms. Kirk is active in the Internet business community, serving as Business Advisor to the QCED Incubator Corporation and on the Board of several early-stage companies. She has also has assisted Internet enterprises such as Rogers Media Inc. and early stage companies to develop and execute Internet growth strategies.  Ms. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters in Public Administration focusing on the use of IT in the delivery of justice services.
